Saute onion with olive oil until golden yellow.

Add sausage and brown.

Add 1/2 jar of pasta sauce and stir until heated.

In a separate pan, boil water. Cook tortellini per package instructions until al dente (usually 7-8 minutes).

Drain tortellini and stir with 2 tablespoons olive oil.

Add in pasta sauce and sausage mixture and bring to simmer. Simmer 5 minutes.

Sprinkle with mozzarella, parmesan, and italian seasoning and then place lid or cookie sheet over pan. Allow to simmer another 5 minutes.
